PAICAR [DA-02 Medium-Hard Foam Polishing Pad]

DA-02 Orange Foam Pad
The DA-02 orange foam pad is optimized for use with the PAICAR 02 polishing compound, especially when paired with a dual-action (rotorbital) polisher. Designed to eliminate surface defects and even deeper scratches efficiently, it performs well across a wide range of automotive paint finishes.
Built with medium-firm foam, the DA-02 strikes a balance between cutting ability and surface refinement. Its durable structure and carefully chosen PPI (pores per inch) offer reliable shape retention, consistent firmness, and smooth operation with minimal skipping during use.
When used in combination with PAICAR 02, this pad delivers a fast and efficient cut while also leaving behind a clear, glossy finish. Its unique design follows the motion of a rotorbital machine smoothly, enabling safe polishing in tighter or hard-to-reach areas while helping prevent surface overheating or burn-through.
At 25 mm thick, the pad provides excellent user control, reduces vibrations, and supports a more stable polishing experience. The open-cell foam construction further enhances heat dissipation, keeping both the pad and paint surface cooler during extended polishing sessions.
